Your Dropward just arrived, now what?

Good news: there is no setup step. Your object left our hands already linked to your emergency profile and already active, so a scan opens your emergency profile from the very first second.

Two things are worth doing anyway.

1. Put it where you'll carry it

Each object has its natural home: the badge on the back of your phone or its case, the card in your wallet next to your ID, the keychain on your keyring. The badge is the only one that sticks, and it sticks for good, so read where to stick the badge before you peel the backing.

2. Test it once

Scan your own object with your phone, or point your camera at its QR code. Your emergency profile should open in the browser. Read it the way a responder would: is the blood type right, are the key allergies there, is the contact number current?

That is all. From then on, it works without you, and it keeps working as you update your profile.
