Which language does my profile show in?

Your profile is not "written in a language", it is structured data rendered in the reader's language, not yours.

It shows in the language of the phone that scans it. Dropward speaks English and French today, and any other phone falls back to English, the language a responder is most likely to read anywhere in the world.

Two things need no translation at all:

• Blood type is universal (O+, A-), and it is the most important block.
• Medical terms (allergies, conditions, medications) come from controlled lists, translated term by term rather than guessed, so they stay medically exact in every language we support.

What you type by hand does stay as you typed it: the free note and a medication's dosage show in the language you wrote them in, since they are yours, not ours to translate. If you travel often, it is worth writing those two in English.

If you were injured abroad, your profile would open for the local responder in their own language where we support it, and in English otherwise. Not in yours, unless yours is theirs.

Why is the object itself printed in English? The words on your Dropward (EMERGENCY INFO, TAP PHONE) stay in English on purpose: it is universal emergency wording, understood by any responder anywhere. That printed text is separate from your profile, which follows the reader's phone instead.
