Does it call emergency services automatically?
Never. Dropward only shows your information and makes it easy to call your emergency contact by hand, with a one-tap call button next to each contact.
Triggering a real call is always a human decision, never an automatic one. There are good reasons for this:
- It avoids false alarms that would tie up emergency resources.
- It keeps the responsibility with the person on the scene, who can see the situation and decide what is needed.
- It respects that an object being scanned does not always mean an emergency.
Your Dropward is labelled "emergency info", never "tap to call". What Dropward does is remove the guesswork: your blood type, allergies and who to call, right there, so a human can act fast.
